This is completely different than anything else is on my blog. I know that a lot of people give not honest reviews on books, because they think that someone might get offended. Of course they will. But i don't care about that! Everyone has their own opinion, and i respect that, but i am going to give an honest review. So i started reading this book in april and i haven't finished it yet (btw, it has 404pages and i am on page 215) and i am bored of it yet. When i started i was really excited and i actually liked it. I loved the drama that Claire has and everything that is affected by that. I also was really in the book, because of the story line. This was one of the books where-while you're reading it, you can see it happening. It's like you see it instead of reading it. And that is what drew me in this book. I read one chapter every night until may, because i had tests coming up and i had to focus on studying. I started back again in June and i was SUPER excited. I wasn't at the end of the first week of June. I came to the point in the book where i didn't like anything. If at first it was breath taking and exciting drama, than now it is really boring. I just don't see the excitement anymore, which is really sad, to be honest. On the back of the book there are 2 quotes, one says - " [ A ] beautifully written, emotional novel" - yes, i have to agree, the part that i was excited at was emotional, and beautifully written. Everything that was going through Claire's mind was and still is fascinating. And it was amazing how she was concious about cheating, but still did it. Which is still the thing that i don't like and don't understand nor i ever want to understand.
Overall, the book i read until the half of it and i found it interesting at the beginning, but really boring starting from the middle! But maybe some people might find it interesting, because it was a New York Times best seller, but i just don't like it as much as i probably should!
